In search of ‘The Self'
Who or what is the ‘Self?'
This is a question that philosophers, mystics, prophets and psychologists have been exploring throughout the world for millennia. Many of the great wisdom traditions have their own understanding and language for looking for, and at the self.
There are many names and ways in which we refer to the self or selves. Amongst these are Persona, Soul, Ego, Self with capital S, self with small s, Shadow self, Transpersonal self, lost self, Authentic self, Real Self, and Adapted self.
This day workshop explores cognitively and experientially through group process where these aspects of self are located. Participants will gain clarity and understanding, whilst demystify the complexity around this subject.
Exploring the Masculine and Feminine
There is much role and gender confusion presently in our culture that is causing great misunderstandings and conflict between men and women. This lack of understanding often creates a breakdown in communication between the sexes the family and ultimately society.
The aim of this co-gender workshop is to gain awareness and insight around the change that as men and women we are experiencing at this time. We will be deepening understanding about our-selves and each other, exploring the differences, diversity and uniqueness through open communication, cognitive mapping and direct experience.
We will be exploring:
- Personal and cultural beliefs about gender rules, roles and scripts.
- Masculine and Feminine rhythms, cycles and growth stages.
- Understanding Archetypes and reclaiming alienated aspects of our-selves.
- Developing communication skills.
- What Women and Men really want. Games Men and Women play.
A brief history of everything
Ken Wilber is generally regarded as the world's most influential Integral thinker. He is seen as an important representative of transpersonal psychology, which emerged in the sixties from humanistic psychology, and which concerns itself explicitly with spirituality. He is the first psychologist-philosopher in history to have his Collected Works published while still alive, with 22 books translated in up to 30 foreign languages. In 2000 he founded the Integral Institute, a think-tank for studying issues of science and society in an integral way. For the fundamental and pioneering nature of his insights, he has been called “the Einstein of consciousness”.
This course is run over one year, whilst only requiring one evening attendance per month. Each month there will be set a required reading of Ken Wilber's work. Starting with “the Spectrum of Consciousness”, (Wilber 1) and following his writings over the last 30 years, completing the course with “Integral Spirituality” (Wilber 5) .
The aim of this program is to immerse your self in this consciousness changing work, gaining a profound understanding and knowledge of the great wisdom traditions East and West through the perspective of one of the greatest living minds.

Circle of Men
The intent of this residential workshop is to help men explore, through experiential and ritual work what it is to be a man today. Based on four essential archetypes, King, Warrior, Magician, Lover and centred around a sweat lodge, the workshop involves transformative ritual and sharing. This process enables participants to embrace manhood, through their relationship as men, among men, by reclaiming and reconnecting with our ancestral and archetypal roots.
We focus on the integration of the dark and soulful qualities of our masculine nature that enable us to find within, a sacred masculine energy which is capable of discernment and protection. This energy seeds life with passion and creativity, allowing us to step forward as men, without apologising for whom we are and, in turn, embrace that energy with an open heart and compassionate mindfulness. .
